Utah Valley University is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Administrative Assistant to support the UFRA program in a collaborative and mission-driven environment. Reporting to the UFRA Coordinator, this role plays an essential part in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing confidential administrative tasks such as payroll entry, timekeeping for adjunct instructors, and maintaining accurate personnel and program records. The position also contributes to scheduling conferences and classrooms, coordinating supplies and uniform inventory, and providing occasional customer service to instructors, staff, and the public.   • Under general direction of the UFRA Coordinator, assists in confidential payroll documentation including data entry and review for UFRA adjunct instructor time. Provide assistant to adjunct instructors in the use of payroll processes and time entry systems. Tracks personnel documentation and records, data entry, and record keeping. Maintains and updates files and records.
  • Monitors and disperses inventory related, but not limited to UFRA adjunct instructor uniforms and supplies.
  • Scheduling classrooms and conference room for UFRA meeting and class use.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree and one year of experience or any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling three years

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and one year of experience, OR any combination of education and experience related to the summary of duties totaling three years. Knowledge
  • Knowledge of office methods, techniques, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an education environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll and time entry practices and procedures.
Skills
  • Skill in the use of computers and computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and databases.
  • Skill in organization, database management and coordination.
  • Skill in Microsoft Office Suite
