TS Hazardous Waste Account Manager

Clean Harbors in both San Jose, CA & Benicia, CA are seeking Technical Services Account Managers. The TS Account Managers will drive new waste management business while growing existing accounts. This role focuses on lead generation, customer acquisition, and expanding services across hazardous waste, environmental solutions, and compliance. Partnering with internal teams, the manager helps clients improve safety, reduce risk, and ensure proper waste management.
 

Territories (2 positions):

1. North Bay Area (north of Hwy 84 on either side of bay to Oregon border). - home branch located out of Benicia, CA. 
2. South Bay Area (south of Hwy 84) on either side of bay to Kings City). - home branch located out of San Jose, CA.

• Identify, engage, and coach key environmental, operations, and compliance stakeholders to build internal consensus. 
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth across multi‑site waste‑management accounts. 
• Strengthening customer relationships through contract oversight, service delivery follow‑up, and continuous improvement. 
• Propose, negotiate, and close profitable environmental services contracts with senior operations and EHS leaders. 
• Analyze waste streams, regulatory needs, and account profitability to ensure proper service, pricing, and margin growth. 
• Prospect and develop new Technical Services accounts using structured target analysis and waste‑stream evaluation.
