About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Trust & Estates Litigation Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney who is looking to build a long-term career handling sophisticated trust, estate, and contested probate matters alongside highly accomplished legal professionals.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced attorneys on complex disputes involving trusts, estates, fiduciary matters, and probate litigation. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly analytical, and eager to contribute in a collaborative team environment while developing strong client relationships and litigation skills.

This position offers exposure to high-level legal work, fascinating clients, and a clear path for professional growth within a respected and established firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle litigation matters related to trusts, estates, and contested probate proceedings
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents
  • Participate in litigation strategy, case analysis, and dispute resolution
  • Prepare for hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys across practice groups to provide strategic legal solutions
  • Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Support clients through complex and sensitive legal disputes with professionalism and attention to detail


What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of three years of litigation experience
  • Experience in trust & estates disputes or contested probate matters preferred
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work collaboratively within a team
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in long-term professional growth
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership with the Washington State Bar Association
