The Opportunity:

  • The firm is seeking a mid-level Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its growing practice. With offices in Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, and a recently added location in Lebanon, New Hampshire, the firm offers flexibility for this position to be based in a hybrid arrangement from any of these offices.
  • This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a career in estate planning, trust and estate administration, charitable giving strategies, and wealth transfer planning within a collaborative, client-focused environment. The practice also advises clients on real estate transactions and leasing matters connected to trust and estate planning.
  • Key responsibilities include drafting and updating comprehensive estate plans, advising clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer and charitable planning, and preparing or reviewing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in trusts and estates law, including estate planning and/or trust and estate administration.
  • Admission to practice in Massachusetts is required (admission to practice in other jurisdictions, such as Connecticut or New Hampshire, is a plus).
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A client-focused mindset and a commitment to professional growth within the T&E practice.


The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $250,000 and does not include benefits and bonus potential. Compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the role, function, and associated responsibilities, as well as a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
