Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Maintain a clean fleet of trucks and trailers by conducting regular washing and detailing help with oil and tire changes.
REPORTS TO: Service Shop Supervisor
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize water, cleaning agents, pressure washers, scrubbers, etc. to maintain a clean fleet.
- Washing the outside of trucks.
- Detailing the inside of trucks.
- Filling out sheets to report missing required documents for the safety department.
- Reporting excessive damage/filth to management.
- Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Pressure washing experience is a plus.
COMPETENCIES:
- Self-starter that takes initiative.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and
thoroughness of the work assigned.
