Skill Set & Background

· Technical Leadership & Collaboration

· Actively participates in agile ceremonies, cross-team interactions, and technical discussions.

· Guides and mentors distributed engineering teams; shares best practices and emerging technology insights.

· Own & provides technical support for production issues, leading troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

· Offers regular progress updates and ensures clear, concise technical documentation.


· Software Development & Architecture

· Works with Lead Engineers/SMEs to build scalable, high-performing software solutions.

· Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, JUnit, PostgreSQL.

· Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Docker.

· Experience with RESTful/Web Services on the Java platform.

· AWS hands-on experience or architectural knowledge (preferred).

· Travel domain knowledge (nice to have).


· Engineering Excellence

· Demonstrated ability in complex code development, application testing, and component design.

· Identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks.

· Strong understanding of technology, design patterns, and architectural principles.

· Ability to provide constructive technical feedback and influence solution direction.

· What We're Looking For

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 12+ years of strong Java development experience.

· Solid understanding of AWS services and microservices architecture.

· Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.

· Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

· Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, New Relic, ELK stack).

· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
