Position Overview
As a Senior Trial Attorney, you will advocate for injured clients with compassion, professionalism, and strategic skill. You will manage your own caseload, evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, meet with clients regularly, and prepare cases for trial — including trying cases as first chair when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and provide clear communication throughout their case
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and strong client‑relationship skills
- Evaluate case value, strengths, and exposure
- Handle negotiations with insurance companies regarding demands and offers
- Prepare cases for trial and serve as first-chair when appropriate
- Maintain a proactive, organized approach to litigation strategy
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Full-time role
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 6+ years of litigation experience
- 5+ jury trials as first chair preferred
- Active member of the Georgia Bar, in good standing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Strong claim‑evaluation and negotiation abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented and solutions-driven
