Treasury and Chief Investment Office Finance & Business Management (F&BM) is seeking an Vice President level Business Manager based in New York supporting the Treasury/Chief Investment Office (TCIO).
The Treasury and Chief Investment Office sits at the very center of the Firm and is responsible for firmwide asset and liability management. As part of Treasury and Chief Investment Office function, the core mandate of the ALM Strategy and Investment Portfolio teams is to analyze, aggregate and manage the interest rate risk of the Firm's four main lines of business through an $300BN global investment securities portfolio.
Treasury and Chief Investment Office Business Management is a key representative and trusted advisor to the Front Office teams. The successful Vice President will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and relationship skills, the ability to execute Tier 2 business initiatives, maintain internal processes and controls and drive business efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with senior Business Managers to support Investment Portfolio, and ALM Strategy teams
Align and work with front office and support groups (Control Management, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk) to execute business priorities
Drive important Tier 2 governance and reporting Forums (e.g., Volcker, Reg W etc.)
Support key BAU trading and modeling activities through blotter review and inventory processes
Identify, assess, and mitigate business risks that could impair the ability to do business, including:
Specific & immediate matters (e.g. regulatory violations, capacity issues, people dependencies)
Technology issues (e.g. product workflow across support areas and systems)
Collaborate with other functional groups as it relates to internal audits, compliance testing and external regulatory requests
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
