Location: Midwest preferred (Travel Required)

Pay: $100,000–$130,000 + Bonus + Per Diem + Truck/Allowance + Benefits

Overview

Heartland Builders is growing! We’re looking for a Site Superintendent (GC) to lead all construction trades on ground-up agricultural construction projects ($10M–$40M+). We’re a collaborative construction group and this is continuous employment not just for a single project. You’ll work closely with Preconstruction, Design, and Project Management teams to deliver optimized livestock production facilities for the nations largest swine, poultry and dairy producers. We build cohesive teams and plan to keep them together – so you can plan for this to be your last job!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily jobsite operations from start to finish
• Manage multiple crews and subcontractors
• Plan and execute daily/weekly work schedules
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
• Oversee foundations, concrete, and structural work
• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
• Work with Project Manager to stay aligned on schedule and budget

Requirements

• 5+ years in construction field leadership (Superintendent, Foreman, etc.)
• Experience with ground-up commercial, industrial, or ag projects
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Concrete (foundations, slabs, walls)
• Structural systems (steel and/or wood)
• Ability to read plans and run work independently
• Willingness to travel full-time
