Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.


Minimum Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent education.
  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and current state license to practice nuclear medicine in Maine.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine, including general nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Experience with nuclear cardiology and oncologic PET imaging required.
  • Experience operating Siemens nuclear imaging equipment preferred.
  • Experience with Epic and NMIS or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Ability to float between inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine and PET imaging as needed.
  • Preferred: demonstrated teamwork, self-motivation, and patient-centered approach.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 06:30–15:00.
  • Work days: Monday–Friday.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
  • Weekend hours: none.
  • Call requirements: none.
  • Float requirements: May float between inpatient imaging at the main hospital and outpatient imaging in Scarborough (drive time approximately 10 minutes).
