Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB certificate required.
• State license or certification to practice nuclear medicine in Nebraska.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital environment preferred.
• Ability to comply with facility radiation safety procedures. Radiation badge will be provided by the client.
• Driver's license required at submittal to verify radius requirement.
• Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity (radius rule applies: 50 miles).
• DOT certification preferred at initial contract and required for extensions within 90 days.
• Fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas. Noncompliance may result in termination of contract.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0700-1500.
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
• On-call requirement: Call one day per week and every 5th weekend.
• Orientation hours: 12 hours.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• Equipment on-site: Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM; training provided if candidate lacks experience with specific equipment.
