💲Pay: Weekly pay package: up to $3100 Weekly Gross Pay

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic diagnostic imaging team. As a travel tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging in a high-volume outpatient setting. You will operate advanced X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, working closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure patient safety, accurate positioning, and optimal image clarity.
Responsibilities
- Imaging Excellence: Perform high-quality X-ray examinations primarily focusing on Knees, Hips, and Spine.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize GE X-ray equipment to produce clear, diagnostic-grade images while adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards.
- Patient Care: Prepare and position patients with care and precision, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Workflow Management: Maintain efficiency in a busy outpatient workflow, ensuring timely transitions between patients without compromising image quality.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and radiologists to meet diagnostic goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all images are properly archived in the PACS system.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Orthopedic Expertise: Proven experience in orthopedic imaging is essential.
- Outpatient Proficiency: Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
- Technical Savvy: Direct experience operating GE X-ray machines.
- High Volume: Ability to thrive and remain organized in a high-volume, busy clinical setting.
- Certifications: * ARRT (R) Certification.
- Current New York State License (must be active at the time of application).
Preferred Skills
- Sports Medicine Background: Specialized experience working with athletes or within a sports medicine practice.
- Advanced Positioning: Expertise in specialized orthopedic views for the spine and lower extremities.
