Job Description
This role requires an experienced First Class Pipefitter with strong experience in marine, commercial nuclear, or petrochemical environments. You will interpret complex piping drawings and perform precise pipe fitting, fabrication, and installation work on a variety of materials to support shipyard and vessel operations.

Work Environment
The position is based in a large shipyard that extends over several miles in Southeast Virginia. Work takes place on Navy vessels and in shop environments, often in industrial and shipboard settings. Seasonal conditions include hot, humid summers and cool winters, and you will work both indoors and outdoors as required by the project. The operation runs three shifts—1st shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)—and you must be able to work any shift as assigned, with shift availability subject to operational needs. The environment is industrial and safety-focused, with standard shipyard safety procedures, tools, and equipment used for pipefitting and fabrication work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.50 - $29.50/hr.
