Responsibilities

Charter House Senior Living Community is looking for an individual to transport residents/clients to a variety of appointments in a safe and efficient manner. Your responsibilities as a transporter include completing resident/client escort assignment in a timely manner, and interacting politely and professionally with residents/clients, family members, and medical center staff.

**This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Qualifications

• Previous experience in geriatrics is preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and human relation skills to interact with residents/clients, family members, and staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.
• Varied hours, almost always during the day shift.

$20.00 - $23.84 / hour.; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Schedule Details

This supplemental position requires a minimum of three 8-hour shifts (24 hours) per month. Hours are based on resident transportation needs.
