Transactional Attorney (5–7 Years Experience)

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney with 5–7 years of law firm experience to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil transaction work including contract drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial and corporate transactions while providing practical legal guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities/Qualifications

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transactional documents related to real estate transactions, easement, government and municipal law, land use and entitlement work, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advise clients on business transactions, risk management, compliance matters, and contract strategy.
  • Manage transactions from initial structuring through closing and post-closing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, attorneys, and cross-functional business teams to ensure efficient execution of legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical recommendations on transactional and corporate law issues.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Idaho State Bar.
  • 5–7 years of transactional experience within a law firm environment.
  • Strong experience handling commercial contracts and corporate transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound business judgment.
  • Experience working directly with clients and managing complex matters independently.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real estate transactions, land use, real property, financing, or corporate governance matters.
