A highly respected IP-focused law firm is seeking a Trademark Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Austin-based team. This role offers a unique alternative to traditional partner-track positions, with a lower billable hour requirement and no business development obligations.


This position provides the opportunity to work on sophisticated trademark, copyright, and brand strategy matters while maintaining a flexible schedule. Remote candidates within the continental United States are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities


• Conduct U.S. and international trademark clearance searches and provide risk assessments and brand strategy advice

• Manage trademark prosecution, including application filings and global portfolio maintenance

• Handle brand enforcement matters, including cease-and-desist letters and dispute resolution

• Manage licensing agreements and intellectual property transactions

• Represent clients in TTAB proceedings and handle copyright-related matters

Qualifications


• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Trademark Attorney or Intellectual Property Attorney

• Strong background in trademark clearance, prosecution, and litigation

• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Excellent legal writing, research, and case management skills

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities

• Must be located within the continental United States
