Job Title: Toolmaker / Mold Maker

Location: Omaha, NE 68152

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 8–9 hours/day, Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays)

Overview

Seeking skilled Toolmakers/Mold Makers to join our growing team. All products are custom-made, and with the current department lead retiring, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within the organization. The role involves programming, setup, and operation of various machine tools to manufacture precision components, particularly injection molds and stamping dies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform setup, startup, operation, troubleshooting, and shutdown of CNC and manual tooling equipment
• Program and operate CNC machines based on part prints and specifications
• Manufacture and assemble components to precise tolerances
• Work with equipment including CNC Mills, Lathes, Grinders, EDM machines
• Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure parts meet required standards
• Train and oversee operators during production runs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Coordinate with designers and buyers to meet production timelines
• Communicate progress and issues with supervisors
• Create and maintain setup sheets and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Injection Molding experience
• Proven experience in Toolmaking/Mold Making
• Ability to program and run CNC Mills
• Strong knowledge of toolroom machines and machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Experience working with steel and plastic materials
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and repair
• Strong mathematical skills and proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Understanding of safety protocols including lockout/tagout

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Camworks software
• Familiarity with Haas machines
• Experience with advanced measuring tools (depth micrometers, optical comparators, etc.)

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, twist, and lift materials
• Capability to perform repetitive physical tasks
