The Tool Engineering Acquisition & Prism Administrator will be responsible for updating how the Tool Engineering team acquires Special Tooling in compliance as outlined within the FAR. This also includes creating the training materials to be flowed out across our team. The successful candidate will also conduct training for our recently merged Tooling teams in Texas.

What You Will Do

  • Develop Tool Acquisition Training for Requestors
  • Develop Training for Web-based Tool Acquisition App
  • Harmonizing tool request system across RAY, RIS, and other tooling groups
  • Develop Performance Metrics for Tool design/fabrication operations
  • Transition from ZITOOL to TPRS

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excell, Power Point, Word)
  • Basic understanding of Gov property requirements associated with the acquisition of Special Tooling
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prism ZITOOL function experience
  • Previous Prism BPE experience
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
  • 3-5 Years of SAP/Prism experience
  • Basic Creo & PDM experience

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.

The hourly rate for this role is $63.65 to $120.96. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate, representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
