Fabricator

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for altering and repairing molds and gauges of complex and precise nature. You will also work on fixtures and possess the ability to setup and operate various types of tool room equipment. The role requires planning and laying out work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Alter and repair molds of complex and precise nature.
• Alter and repair gauges, fixtures, and tools.
• Setup and operate all types of tool room equipment.
• Plan and lay out work efficiently.
• Operate Mazak machinery, including lathes and mills.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges proficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Setup plastic mold extruders up to 1200 tons.
• Work with tolerances up to one thousandth of an inch.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Mazak machinery lathes/mills.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Experience with operating a manual mill and lathe.
• Ability to work with tight tolerances.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• G&M programming is a plus.
• Experience in manual machining and CNC lathe/mill setup.

This is a Permanent position based out of Florence, KY.

The pay range for this position is $61900.80 - $61900.80/yr.
