Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Tool and Die Journeyman based in Fond du Lac, WI. Responsibilities include fabricating, repairing, and maintaining tools and dies to support production. The Tool and Die Journeyman will conduct troubleshooting, operate machining equipment, collaborate with team members to meet project goals, and ensure tooling meets quality and safety requirements. Additionally, the role involves providing training and support to peers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving to maintain and repair tools and dies efficiently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
  • Experience in training team members and sharing knowledge to promote skill development
  • Project management abilities to plan and complete assignments on time
  • Expertise in machining operations, including the use of lathes, milling machines, and grinders
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety
  • Completion of an accredited Tool and Die Journeyman program or equivalent experience
