Position OverviewWe seek a dedicated Toddler Early Childhood Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Working with a co-teacher, this role involves planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for children. Teachers also collaborate with parents to support each child's overall growth—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.
Key Responsibilities- Create and lead engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster independence, creativity, and problem-solving in young learners.
- Provide warm, responsive care tailored to individual needs.
- Integrate Jewish studies into learning experiences.
- Maintain strong, open communication with parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate professionally with co-workers and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications- Degree or certification in early childhood education or related field (relevant experience may be used in lieu of certification).
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices.
- Familiarity with Texas Minimum Standards and NAEYC Accreditation Criteria.
- Passion for Jewish education and early childhood learning.
- Experience incorporating Jewish customs, holidays, and values into teaching.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds, sit and stand for extended periods, and kneel on the carpet.
