Staff Right of Way Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Staff Right of Way Specialist to support land acquisition and right of way activities for infrastructure and utility projects. This role will focus on property research, permitting, stakeholder coordination, project reporting, and supporting acquisition and construction efforts across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret deeds, easements, leases, permits, licenses, and other right of way documents.
• Conduct property research and maintain stakeholder management databases.
• Prepare permit applications, project reports, and acquisition documentation.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of database entries and project records.
• Support subcontractor coordination, contracts, invoices, and change orders.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and public involvement meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years of experience in right of way acquisition, relocation, eminent domain, real estate, or project management.
• Strong understanding of title work, land surveys, and real estate law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• SR/WA or other IRWA certification
• Real Estate Broker or Sales License
