Job Description
This Tissue Technician role is an entry-level position in a controlled biomedical manufacturing environment, focused on upstream tissue processing. You will develop strong technical skills in tissue processing, learn and follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, and work within a clean room setting using aseptic techniques. The position trains on first shift and then transitions to second shift, supporting high-quality tissue products that meet strict regulatory, safety, and documentation standards.

Work Environment
This role operates in a controlled biomedical manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on safety, aseptic technique, and compliance with clean room operational SOPs. You will work in an ISO-style clean room and controlled areas where you must wear appropriate clean room lab attire and follow strict gowning procedures. The position requires consistent use of aseptic techniques while handling tissue products and working with sterilization and decontamination processes. The shift structure includes initial training on first shift (approximately 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for about two weeks), followed by transition to second shift (approximately 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.) on a rotating four 10-hour days per week schedule. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alachua, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
