Theme Park Senior Director of Operations Panhandle FL /New Orleans.   

*Reports to the Vice President.

*Highly compensated position $140k-$175K + 30% Incentive and low cost of living.

*540 acres - Year-round theme park featuring dry and wet.

*25 attractions with 100,000 square ft water park.

*300 team members

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES Theme Park Senior Director of Operations Panhandle FL /New Orleans.  

*Collaborates with the Director F&B /Retail.

*Emphasis is on the guest and associate experience.

*Games and rides and guests flow at the gate and on the rides.

*Experience with strong guest service experience.

*Excellent hiring –focus on training – guest/working as a team/accident prevention etc.

*Budgets, P&L etc.

*Safety and cleanliness.

* Manage the preventative maintenance program.

*Develop, prepare, and manage annual operating budgets - park tickets, games, cabana sites, rental revenue projections, park operating hours, department operating expenses, supplies, payroll, training, and capital expenses.

*Oversee and lead the managers, supervisors, and team members of Ride Operations, Rides Maintenance, Aquatics, Aquatics Maintenance, Guest Services, and Games.

*Recruit, hire, train, support, coach, and counsel.

*Develop and implement park ticket models, including season passes, daily tickets, and special offers to achieve profitability, revenue growth; collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Events on development and implementation of ticket programs

*Developing annual budgets, inventory control, monthly forecasting, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Theme Park Senior Director of Operations Panhandle FL /New Orleans.   

10 years’ experience in the attractions, theme park, or water park industry with at least three years serving in a senior ride and/or aquatics management role

Direct experience in operating theme/water park rides and attractions

Familiarity and experience with the development and implementation of theme/water park ticketing models

A PLUS:

Familiarity and experience with Jeff Ellis & Associates and International Ride Training training and operating standards.

Familiarity with water quality standards; Certified Pool Operator.

Familiarity and experience with maintenance and capital construction projects.

*J-1 Visa experience.
