This position will create, maintain, and assess high quality statewide learning and development and facilitation best practices related to instructional design as well as supporting positive vendor relations.
Responsibilities include designing, delivering, implementing, and evaluating course curriculum. The position is responsible for building training content in modern platforms that support individual learning development virtually and in-person. This position will support strategic training initiatives connected to the new payroll system implementation through state-wide learning and development
goals.
A summary of the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Experience Only:At least six (6) years of relevant experience in developing and delivering adult learning training or an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
OR
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation developing and delivering adult learning training as related to the work assigned equal to at least six (6) years
Theexceptional candidatewill possess the proven ability or accomplishment in the following preferred qualifications:
Previous State Service related to the work assigned to the position
Exceptional communications skills which include the ability to adapt verbal communication style to various situations and all levels within the organization as well as writing skills that produce documents which are formal, comprehensive, persuasive and understandable
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook), and Google (Calendar, Documents, Sheets, Drive, etc.), as well as the ability to quickly learn and apply other software skills
Customer service skills
Experience planning, coordinating, creating and distributing communications to a variety of audiences
Experience with Articulate software to support and deliver training material
Appeal Rights:
