Open Until FilledGENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position serves as the primary licensing clerk for the Wyoming Gaming Commission at the live horse racing meets in Gillette, Evanston, Rock Springs, and Cheyenne. Duties include reviewing license applications, photographing and fingerprinting applicants, data entry of applications into the licensing database, accounting for licensing fees paid, and assisting the racing stewards. One of the main things is that the candidate must be able to travel. We are hoping to find someone that can work all the meets starting in Gillette the week of May 11, then June - August 9 the position will be in Evanston, then moving to Rock Springs August 11 - September 27 and end in Cheyenne October 2-November 1.

- Reviewing and processing pari-mutuel license applications.
- Photographing and fingerprinting applicants.
- Preparing weekly reports and daily deposits for licensing activity.
- Assisting the racing stewards.
- This position will have total authority to reject incomplete applications.
- This position would refer to supervisors for decisions involving the granting or denial of a pari-mutuel license for approval.
PREFERENCES:Preference will be given to those with attention to detail.
Preference will be given to those with licensing experience.
KNOWLEDGE:- Knowledge of licensing and fingerprinting process.
- Knowledge and experience working in databases.
- High-level typing skills.
- Proficient in word, excel, and google docs.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to travel.
- Applicant must be available for the racing season from May 11, 2026, to November 1, 2026.
