Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 15+ years of experience to serve as the bridge between business, customers, UX, and engineering teams.
Experience
- 15+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager in software/mobile application development
- 5+ years specifically in mobile apps that connect to hardware devices via BLE, Wi-Fi, or cellular
- Proven experience executing Product Owner responsibilities in Agile/Scrum environments
- Must have delivered products from concept to launch and managed them post-production
- Prior USA-based, customer-facing experience required; ability to travel to client sites up to 25%
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of at least one:
- EV Ecosystem: Battery management systems, EV charging stations, OCPP/ISO 15118, energy management, telematics
- IoT Platforms: Device shadows, digital twins, telemetry ingestion, command & control, OTA firmware management
- Familiarity with hardware-software interaction constraints: latency, offline modes, provisioning, error states
Technical Skills
- Expert in writing user stories, use cases, process flows, and sequence diagrams for mobile + IoT systems
- Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar agile and design tools
- Working knowledge of mobile app architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, MQTT, cloud platforms AWS IoT/Azure IoT Hub/GCP
- Ability to read API specs, JSON payloads, and discuss technical trade-offs with engineers and architects
- Understanding of mobile analytics, crashlytics, and A/B testing frameworks
