Techno/Functional NetSuite ERP Consultant - Manufacturing | Garden Grove, CA (Onsite)

About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Techno/Functional NetSuite ERP Consultant to join our client's manufacturing operations team onsite in Garden Grove, California. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions while hands-on configuring, customizing, and optimizing the ERP platform across Finance, Inventory, and Manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams
- Configure and customize NetSuite modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, and Work Orders/Assemblies
- Develop and maintain SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow workflows, saved searches, custom records, forms, and reports to meet business needs
- Lead and support NetSuite implementation projects, module rollouts, system upgrades, and third-party integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and iPaaS tools
- Perform data migrations, conduct unit and user acceptance testing (UAT), and develop comprehensive end-user training materials and documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshoot system issues, and manage enhancements through change management processes
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to align ERP capabilities with evolving manufacturing business processes
- Optimize Finance and Inventory workflows improving operational efficiency and system performance
Requirements:
- 4-5 years hands-on NetSuite ERP experience in manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with NetSuite Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Multi-Book/Multi-Currency accounting
- Expertise in Inventory/Supply Chain modules: Inventory Management, Assemblies, BOM, Work Orders, Demand Planning
- Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk (web services)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating complex business processes into technical specifications
- Full-cycle NetSuite implementation experience including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support
- Experience with CSV import/export and data migration processes
- Excellent communication skills working effectively with technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
- Must be available to work fully onsite at Garden Grove, CA facility (not remote/hybrid)
Preferred Qualifications:
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation or ERP Consultant certification
- Experience with NetSuite WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Familiarity with third-party integrations (Celigo, Zapier, or similar iPaaS platforms)
- Background in accounting, supply chain management, or industrial engineering
- Manufacturing or discrete manufacturing industry experience
- REST/SOAP API integration experience
