Blending Technician

The Blending Technician works in the blending room and helps make food products the right way. This is a hands‑on job where you mix ingredients, run machines, clean equipment, and help the team stay on track.

What You’ll Do

• Run the blending room each day
• Help lead a team of around 8 people
• Hand out daily tasks like weighing ingredients, mixing batches, running machines, and cleaning
• Follow the daily production plan and finish all batches
• Weigh ingredients using recipes
• Set up and run blending machines
• Take machines apart and clean them after each batch
• Keep the room and equipment clean and sanitized
• Watch the mixing process to be sure everything looks right
• Check product quality during and after runs
• Fix small machine issues or call for help if it’s bigger
• Write down what was made and note any problems
• Make sure everyone follows safety rules
• Help the team work together and stay on schedule

What You Need

• Experience working in food production or mixing
• Experience using production or blending machines
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of cleaning and food safety rules
• Ability to take machines apart and put them back together
• Ability to guide a team and give clear directions
• Organized and detail‑oriented
• Able to work the shift: 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday–Thursday

Nice to Have

• Experience as a lead or senior worker
• Experience in food manufacturing
• Comfortable talking with a team and giving instructions
• Strong focus on cleanliness and safety

• Four 10‑hour shifts each week

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wausau, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
