Location: Washington, DC (100% Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension)

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 6 Hours Per Day)

Pay Rate: $38.87/hour + $5.09/hour Health & Welfare = $43.96/hour Total Compensation

Position Overvie

wNRI Staffing is seeking a Technical Writer II / Legal Editor to support a federal administrative tribunal in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for reviewing, editing, formatting, and proofreading legal decisions, orders, and other written materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established legal writing standards

.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional editing skills, strong attention to detail, and experience working with complex legal, technical, or published documents

Responsibiliti

  • esEdit, proofread, and format legal decisions, orders, and related document
  • s.Correct grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, and word usag
  • e.Ensure consistency with organizational style guides and legal writing standard
  • s.Review legal citations and references for compliance with The Blueboo
  • k.Verify information using legal research databases and source material
  • s.Review draft decisions for completeness, accuracy, and proper formattin
  • g.Collaborate with attorneys, judges, and administrative staf
  • f.Assist with special projects and other legal editing assignments as neede
