Technical Recruiter

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high-volume hiring within a manufacturing and industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on recruiting professional who thrives in fast-paced, blue-collar hiring settings and is comfortable managing multiple requisitions while driving candidate flow through proactive sourcing and consistent outreach.

The Contract Recruiter will partner closely with plant leadership and hiring managers to deliver qualified talent across hourly and skilled industrial roles, while ensuring a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring process.

Rate Range: $32/hour to $38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 5–10 active requisitions simultaneously in a high-volume manufacturing setting
• Conduct heavy outbound phone sourcing and screening for blue-collar and industrial talent, including hourly production, skilled trades, and plant-based roles
• Build and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive outreach and follow-up
• Coordinate and schedule onsite interviews with plant leadership and hiring managers
• Partner closely with operations and plant stakeholders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
• Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate activity, document hiring progress, and manage hiring workflows
• Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle
• Support hiring goals by maintaining speed, accuracy, and compliance in the recruiting process

Skills:

• Proven ability to thrive in high-volume recruiting environments
• Strong outbound phone sourcing and screening skills
• Experience recruiting for industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trades roles
• Effective organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple requisitions
• Comfort working directly with onsite leadership in plant-based settings
• ATS proficiency with strong attention to detail in pipeline management
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on hiring efficiency and quality
