Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Designer based in New York, NY. The Technical Designer will collaborate closely with design and production teams to manage garment construction, oversee fittings, and create technical specifications. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing patterns, troubleshooting design challenges, and ensuring the quality and functionality of products. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of industry standards and trends. This position will report to the Director technical design.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Technical Design and a strong understanding of Garment Construction
• Experience with Fitting processes and the ability to ensure proper garment fit and quality
• Proficiency in Pattern Making and ensuring patterns meet product and design requirements
• Knowledge of Architectural principles as they apply to apparel design and construction
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field preferred
• Experience in the Underwear industry is a plus
