Department Overview:
The International Bank Platform (IBP) is a Bank Operating Platform supported by a multi-year program to deliver international branches and expanded cross-border capabilities to United States (U.S.) Corporate & Commercial customers with subsidiaries abroad.
The Wholesale International Program (WIP) is a multi-year effort to deliver international branches and expanded cross-border capabilities to United States (U.S.) middle-market customers with subsidiaries abroad. The strategic International Bank Platform (IBP) integrates with the broader U.S. enterprise to manage risk and offer a consistent set of global products to its customers. A large component of IBP is Global Branch Foundation.
The Core IBP consists of:
- Branch Foundation (Flexcube Universal Banking System (FCUBS))
- Global Transaction Banking (Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM))
- Global Liquidity Management (Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM))
- Lending (LoanIQ),
- Trade (Tradeworks)
- Regulatory Reporting on FRS Global* (where supported)
- IBP covers over 150+ integration partners across the Enterprise
The program is supported from multiple technology and business partners including, but not limited to Regional COOs, Operational Risk, Product Management, Operations (Regional, International), International Compliance, Finance, Technology Risk, Audit, PPMG, Technology Partners, Enterprise Release Management, PMQA, Wholesale Release Management, Technology Architecture and Application Support
The IBP has been successfully deployed to Canada, Ireland, Singapore, as well as London, Cayman, Hong Kong, Shanghai and US Multi-Currency. There are currently 5 active projects in WIP across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions
About the Role:
Delivery member for Global Branch Foundation (Corporate Banking) applications in International Services – Oracle Flexcube, Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM), Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM) applications to ensure quality of the source codes delivered by vendor (Oracle) and custom/extensions done by Oracle & Wells Fargo team members during the SDLC phases
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of all stories assigned to a team member during sprint planning.
- Performs all necessary tasks required to complete the story per the success criteria and the team’s Definition of Done. This includes analysis, design, code, unit testing, defect fixing and test automation.
- Proactively work with team members to ensure that they acquire the knowledge and skills needed to deliver their stories
- Assist in creating and refining user stories, including story pointing and clarifying the acceptance criteria.
- Escalates and tracks impediments to the Scrum Master and Product Owner as soon as they are identified
- Partners with other team members and external teams/partners to manage dependencies on stories assigned to them
- Ensures that the details of their stories in Jira are complete per the team’s Definition of Ready and understandable
- Updates the status of their stories in Jira including entering sub-tasks and comments
- Participates actively in all team events
- Responsible for release wide deployment activities (e.g. ECR code promotion, break-fixes and quarterly releases
- Oversight and coordination between different development teams for implementation activities
- Coordinates application health monitoring, tech refresh and other remediation activities
- Participates in some ToT ceremonies – Planning, Reviews
- Collaborates with Platform support , GBF Kanban leads , Engineering Managers and Technology delivery manager in managing implementation activities
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or design as demonstrated through work, military, or education
- 7 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: strategic planning, initiative management, project management, project delivery, digital product/program management, technology, corporate communications, paralegal, process engineering, or military experience; with a voluntary 2 year minimum career break
Desired Qualifications
- Deep knowledge and understanding of operation work flows/processes
- Deep knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains
Other Desired Qualifications - Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management and effective escalation
- Ability to work directly with the technology and business counterparts in globally distributed location
- Should be having collaborative attitude to work with local & distributed teams
- Should have at least 5+ years of hands-on product expertise in Oracle Flexcube (or) Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) (or) Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM)
