SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

�15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture / Solution Architecture, specifically within the Pharmaceutical Commercial domain (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, or Commercial Analytics).

�Strong hands-on expertise in Data Modeling (Dimensional modeling, star schemas, and semantic modeling) and translating business KPIs into governed metrics.

�Proven experience designing and governing cloud integrations (APIs, event streaming, batch/file integrations, middleware/iPaaS), including non-functional requirements like performance, resiliency, and observability.

�Deep functional understanding of sales planning, forecasting, bid management, and tender management lifecycles.

�Demonstrated experience evaluating technology products (build vs. buy assessments) and reviewing/approving complex technical design artifacts (HLD/LLD, data models, and interface specs).


Secondary (Good to Have):

�Hands-on experience with commercial platforms and ecosystems such as Salesforce, Veeva CRM, and marketing analytics tools.

�Experience working with Cloud Data Platforms (AWS preferred) and standard data engineering patterns (Lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT orchestration, and metadata management).

�Direct exposure to syndicated pharmaceutical datasets and commercial data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony) and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.

�Familiarity working within highly regulated life sciences environments requiring strict data governance, auditability, and secure data handling.


POSITION OVERVIEW

are seeking an Elite Senior Technology Architect to own the end-to-end solution architecture for global commercial capabilities (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Bid, and Tender Management) in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. Based out of Parsippany, NJ on a hybrid schedule, this pivotal role will evaluate technology platforms, design scalable integration patterns, drive robust data modeling, and provide hands-on architectural governance. The selected candidate will ensure high-quality delivery of data products and business intelligence applications that directly support strategic commercial forecasting and decision-making.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

�Define target architectures, reference patterns, and solution blueprints for commercial platforms, data products, and downstream business intelligence/analytics applications.

�Evaluate commercial technology products (COTS) and software solutions against complex business requirements, factoring in scalability, security, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and vendor roadmaps.

�Design and govern data integrations across CRM, marketing platforms, and data lakehouses, establishing explicit data contracts, error-handling mechanisms, and monitoring frameworks.

�Lead the design of dimensional data models, curated data marts, and semantic layers to enable seamless, self-service BI reporting (via Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

�Review and approve high-stakes technical artifacts including architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, interface specifications, and deployment strategies.

�Establish clear engineering governance standards for coding, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, data quality metrics, and regulatory data compliance (lineage, access controls, and retention).

�Partner closely with Sales Operations, Market Access, Finance, and IT executives to translate complex commercial needs into prioritized, implementable technical roadmaps.
