Key responsibilities

• Procure engineered components and technical services for capital equipment manufacturing projects
• Partner with engineering and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements
• Manage supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality expectations
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and applicable industry codes
• Support supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Resolve supplier non-conformance issues and delivery challenges
• Support project cost tracking and earned value reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• 5+ years of experience in capital equipment manufacturing or a technical procurement environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME and PED
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment
• Experience presenting to senior or executive-level stakeholders preferred
