The Technology Resiliency Consultant will develop and maintain strong relationships with business and technology leaders, and team members. Meet with key stakeholders regularly and provide consistent and comprehensive status of the resilience risk gaps and remediation activities. The role will act as Resilience Risk identification and lead discussions around remediation of the identified risks and monitor the overall resilience landscape of Wells Fargo Technology. Technology resiliency consultant will monitor and manage potential negative impacts resilience risks for the overall Technology Continuity and Resilience Program. The role will monitor remediation action plans for timely completion and escalate any known weakness in the overall resilience landscape within the Wells Fargo Technology division.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop the Wells Fargo Continuity and Resilience Risk gap assessment methodology
  • Ensure the assessment takes into consideration the global risk and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders across Business Technology Resilience, Technology Owners to perform the Resilience gap analysis for the Firm
  • Monitor existing Regulatory and Audit issue remediation for timely completion
  • Partner with Head of WFT TCR Head to design, plan, govern and execute enterprise wide technology continuity and resilience risk methodology
  • Promote a culture of technical resiliency, leveraging technology, and building flexible plans meeting business SLAs and regulatory requirements
  • Partners with the WFT TCR Head on the technology continuity & resiliency and risk centric maturity monitoring, continuous improvement activities; process management & reengineering, incremental innovation through Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
  • Build strong relationships with Business and Technology Leads
  • Partner across the WFT Strategy team, Risk management team, business leaders and advisors to bring together a comprehensive solution for the company

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • 6+ years of business continuity planning experience
  • 3+ years of experience applying independent operational risk management practices with Business Continuity Management or Disaster Recovery programs
  • 5 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: strategic planning, initiative management or project management
  • 8+ years of business continuity planning experience
  • 7 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: strategic planning, initiative management, project management, project delivery, digital product/program management, technology, corporate communications, paralegal, process engineering, or military experience; with a voluntary 2 year minimum career break
  • 3+ years of experience in the review and analysis of operational risk


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • 1+ year of experience performing risk assessments
  • 1+ year of risk and threat management experience
  • 1+ year of risk management experience
  • 2+ years of business continuity planning experience
  • Analytics experience
  • Ability to deliver concise, time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams
  • Good project management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical leadership including large, visible, cross group projects across multiple technologies
  • Strong experience from a resiliency design perspective in one or more of the following areas: Technology & Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery, Cyber resiliency, Data Corruption, Cloud Resiliency, and Data Center resiliency procedures/solutions


Other Desired Qualifications
  • CBCP/CISA/PMP or other related certifications are considered a plus
  • Responsible to provide consistent and comprehensive status reports to stakeholders which may include members of Operating Committee or Technology Leadership
