About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Tech Principal Program Manager to lead and architect the delivery of transformative cybersecurity and compliance programs across our enterprise. This role demands a deep understanding of evolving regulatory landscapes, advanced cybersecurity technologies, and the ability to drive complex, high-impact initiatives that safeguard our organization's assets and reputation. You will serve as a critical bridge between technology, security, compliance, and business strategy, ensuring that our enterprise projects are secure, compliant, and resilient.
Responsibilities
- Define and Champion Strategic Program Vision: Establish the overarching vision and strategic roadmap for enterprise-wide Cyber Security and Compliance programs, aligning with the company's long-term business objectives.
- Drive Executive-Level Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with C-level executives and senior leadership to understand strategic priorities, articulate program vision, and secure executive sponsorship.
- Establish Enterprise Program Governance: Develop and implement robust program governance frameworks, ensuring alignment across diverse stakeholders, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Architect Complex Program Structures: Design and implement sophisticated program structures, including integrated work plans, financial models, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Lead Cross-Functional Strategic Initiatives: Orchestrate and lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment across technology, business, and operational domains.
- Establish and Promote Program Excellence: Develop and champion best practices for program management, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence across the organization.
- Lead Enterprise-Wide Adoption of Security tools and behaviors: Develop and execute comprehensive organizational change management strategies to ensure adoption of new technologies, techniques and processes that enhance our associate’s participation is securing the enterprise
- Provide Expert Guidance and Mentorship: Mentor and develop senior program managers, security engineering leaders, and/or technical tiger teams, fostering a high-performance, cross-team execution capability and building organizational program management practice throughout
- Manage Vendor Strategic Partnerships: Lead the evaluation, selection, and management of strategic vendor partnerships, ensuring alignment with program objectives and maximizing value to the company. Find ways to measure ROI within the various programs.
- Proactively Identify and Mitigate Enterprise Risks: Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of enterprise-level risks that could impact program success.
- Influence Industry Best practices: May represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and publications, establishing thought leadership and driving innovation.
Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in leading complex, enterprise-wide technology programs, with a proven track record of delivering transformative initiatives within the retail industry.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with C-level executives and senior leadership.
- Expertise in developing and implementing enterprise-level program governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor senior program managers and build high-performing teams.
- Extensive experience in managing complex budgets and financial models.
- Deep understanding of retail enterprise systems and the ability to integrate systems across multi-platforms.
- Expert level knowledge of program management methodologies, including agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to drive organizational change management at an enterprise level.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and influence technology strategy.
- Expertise in managing large vendor relationships.
- This role requires being onsite in the office Monday through Thursday.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $200,000- $230,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
