Key Responsibilities
• Advise clients on tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
• Provide guidance on partnerships, LLCs, and joint venture structures
• Support private equity transactions and fund formation matters
• Work on real estate transactions and real estate investment trusts (REITs)
• Assist in financing and capital markets transactions
• Collaborate closely with corporate attorneys on deal structuring
• Manage substantial components of transactions independently

Qualifications
• 3–4 years of experience as a Tax Associate Attorney in transactional tax work
• Strong background in corporate and M&A tax matters
• Experience handling key components of transactions independently
• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility (California Bar required)
• Excellent academic credentials and law firm experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
