Required Skills

• Public accounting experience, including at least one busy tax season
• Strong technical tax knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• CPA or EA highly preferred; candidates in process considered
• Ability to work effectively in a small office environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Knowledge of IRS and state audit procedures
• Proficiency with tax software and research tools
• Outgoing personality and team-oriented mindset
• Previous experience with tax planning and consulting

Preferred Education and Experience

• CPA designation is highly preferred, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one completed busy tax season
• Public accounting experience of 1+ years or more, ranging from associate levels to senior manager candidates

Other Requirements

• Willingness to start before January for busy season preparation
• Ability to adapt to extended work hours during peak tax season, with a 55-60 hour workweek from April 15 to August 31
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment
• Certain roles may involve potential participation in firm ownership for senior-level CPAs
