Oliver Fire Protection and Security is looking for an experienced and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a pivotal role in our team identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent aligned with business needs. This role partners with hiring managers to ensure proactive, efficient, and high-quality hiring experience while maintaining compliance and promoting employer brand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle recruitment process partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles
- Develop, execute and maintain creative sourcing strategies using job boards and talent pipelines that attract and engage quality active and passive candidates
- Screen and evaluate candidates through structured interviews and behavioral-based assessments
- Drive a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement
- Track and report recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, and offer acceptance rates
- Initiate employer branding initiatives and workforce planning efforts including career fairs and university engagements
- Support internship and early‑career recruiting programs along with related onboarding/ conversion activities.
- Responsible for continuous process improvement within Talent Acquisition
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven hands-on experience in talent acquisition evaluating candidate qualifications and cultural fit
- Experience recruiting technical, sales and operational roles is preferred
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Previous experience in construction recruitment is a plus
- Previous experience with Paycom is a plus
- Ability to work productively under pressure and meet expected deadlines
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends, innovative recruitment channels and selection tools
- Bachelor’s degree and/or strong related work experience
