In this highly strategic role, you will lead the Talent Acquisition strategy for our Local Onsite Expert Program. Historically, Intuit has empowered customers through our virtual expert network; we are now expanding that mission into the physical world by launching a nationwide footprint of Flagship, Retail, and Service locations. You will lead a team of talented recruiters responsible for hiring the onsite experts and leaders who will serve as the face of TurboTax in local communities across the USA.


Responsibilities

ResponsibilitiesDrive Strategic & Data-Driven Talent Acquisition
  • Serve as a Strategic Talent Advisor:Develop and execute the forward-looking talent strategy for our new onsite model, aligning hiring velocity with business milestones and our Bold 2030 Goals.

  • Onsite Operational Excellence:Partner closely with Real Estate, Legal, and Finance to ensure hiring is synchronized with lease-signing timelines and compliant with local onsite labor requirements.

  • Advanced Analytics:Generate data-driven insights across funnel metrics and offer acceptance trends to influence executive decision-making. Diagnose root-cause issues in complex hiring funnels—such as location-specific supply constraints—and build targeted interventions.

  • Scalable Sourcing Models:Design and manage concurrent hiring streams from both external marketing efforts and internal 'rehire' populations, optimizing the mix to meet seasonal demand.

  • Process Innovation:Adapt recruitment systems (EH2.0, Workday, VEP) to manage location-based hiring, ensuring we are tracking and offering roles only in available markets.

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team
  • People Leadership:Manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, fostering a culture of shared ownership and agility in a rapidly evolving, 'first-of-its-kind' program.

  • Capability Building:Elevate recruiting expertise in assessing for 'Growth' and 'Ambassador' mindsets—identifying talent that balances tax expertise with community-driven lead generation and brand advocacy.

  • Agile Change Management:Lead the team through strategic pivots, such as adjusting shift schedules or expanding candidate pools to address market-specific gaps.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Leadership


  • One Integrated TA Team:Collaborate with peer TA leaders, HR Business Partners, and Workforce Planning to ensure seamless delivery of the onsite expert network alongside our virtual operations.

  • Brand & Marketing Partnership:Partner with Marketing to align employer branding with the launch of our Flagship and Retail locations, ensuring a world-class candidate experience that mirrors our customer experience.

  • Drive Change at Scale:Translate high-level strategy into clear action plans, ensuring the recruitment engine can respond quickly as new office locations are finalized.


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience:8–10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3–5 years in a formal people management role leading a team of recruiters and sourcers.
  • Operational Complexity:3+ years of experience managing high-volume, seasonal, or project-based hiring
  • Data Fluency & Analytical Capability: Advanced ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights. Must have experience using data to diagnose bottlenecks and implementing scalable interventions.
  • Executive Influence & Strategic Partnership:5+ years partnering directly with Director+ leaders. Proven ability to negotiate strategic levers—such as compensation adjustments, shift flexibility, or sourcing budget increases—to mitigate hiring risks.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Track record of influencing partners outside of HR, specifically in Real Estate/Facilities, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Analytics.
