The Opportunity

A well-backed AI software company is looking for a Senior Recruiter to help scale their team at a pivotal moment in their growth. HQ in the Bay, this business is building genuinely innovative AI-powered products that are already used by thousands of professionals worldwide - and they need a recruiter who can keep pace with that ambition.

This is a true ownership role. You will work directly with founders and senior leaders, hire across technical and non-technical functions, and help shape a recruiting function that scales with the company. What You'll Do

End-to-End Hiring Ownership

  • Own the full recruitment cycle for roles across engineering, product, GTM, and business functions
  • Hire across a broad range of disciplines including Software Engineers, Data Engineers, ML specialists, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand priorities, define role requirements, and move quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Source, screen, interview, and close candidates across multiple functions simultaneously


Sourcing & Candidate Experience

  • Proactively build pipelines using LinkedIn, referral networks, and creative sourcing strategies
  • Maintain a strong bench of talent for both immediate and future hiring needs
  • Deliver a consistently high-quality candidate experience from first contact to offer
  • Represent the company as a credible and compelling brand ambassador in the market


Process & Operations

  • Manage interview coordination, feedback loops, and hiring decisions with efficiency and rigour
  • Contribute to building repeatable, scalable recruiting processes suited to a growing start-up
  • Collaborate with HR and Ops on offers, onboarding handoffs, and documentation
  • Track hiring metrics and surface insights to leadership on a regular basis


Stakeholder Partnership

  • Work directly with founders and senior leaders on critical hires
  • Advise on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring strategy
  • Balance speed with quality in a product environment that moves fast


What We're Looking For

  • 4 to 7 years of recruiting experience, ideally gained in a start-up or product-led company
  • Proven track record hiring for both technical and non-technical roles
  • Strong understanding of tech hiring across engineering, data, and infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple roles independently in a high-growth environment


Nice to Have

  • Experience hiring within AI, data, or developer-focused product companies
  • Familiarity with ATS tools and structured interview processes
  • Previous experience working directly with founders or early leadership teams
