Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition & Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for attracting, recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent across the organization. This role combines end-to-end recruitment activities with the design, coordination, and delivery of employee learning and development initiatives. The specialist works closely with business leaders to ensure the organization attracts high-quality candidates, enhances employee capabilities, and supports workforce growth and succession planning.

Role is onsite Monday to Friday.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate the selection process.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.


Learning & Development

  • Assess organizational training needs through performance reviews, surveys, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver learning and development programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Manage internal and external training providers, workshops, and e-learning platforms.
  • Create and maintain training materials, learning resources, and development plans.
  • Track employee participation and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

HR Support

  • Collaborate with HR teams on employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes and development planning.
  • Maintain training and recruitment records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with HR projects, audits, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations related to recruitment and learning outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, learning and development, or a similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques, and employment legislation.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD, ATD) are an advantage.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time on-site Monday-Friday.
