Systems Engineer Sr Stf

Description:This position is for a Configuration Management (CM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) CM team.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enforce CM plans, policies, and procedures for the program.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for configuration identification, configuration/baseline control, status accounting, and audit activities.
- Provide expert guidance to cross functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, quality, program management) on CM best practices.
- Mentor and train junior staff and stakeholders on CM processes, tools, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in risk and opportunity assessments, identifying configuration related risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Support contract and customer deliverables (e.g., audit certifications, status accounting data, technical data packages) ensuring timely, accurate submissions.
- Support proposal activity, including review of CSOWs and SSOWs to support BOE development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education with at least 8 years of professional experience
- Configuration Management experience, particularly with Software
- Experience with the proposal process, CSOWs, SSOWs, and BOE creation
Desired Skills:
- Experience with program milestones, including SETRs and Functional and Physical Configuration Audits
- Knowledge of CM and SE industry standards
- Experience working in ADP or in a Classified environment
- Existing Program/Security clearances preferred
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
