ResponsibilitiesIntegration Specialist is responsible for the day‑to‑day reliability, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of multi‑vendor clinical integrations, particularly those supporting operating room and procedural environments. This role provides real‑time technical support for live clinical settings, proactively monitoring system performance, resolving issues that could impact patient care or surgical workflow, and coordinating rapid resolution across Information Technology, Clinical Engineering, vendors, and clinical stakeholders.
The Integration Specialist performs system administration, root‑cause analysis, and validation of interfaces and data flows between clinical systems (e.g., EHR, surgical video and images and device platforms), ensuring data integrity, system uptime, and compliance with enterprise standards.
The position also plays a key role in new technology implementations and system upgrades, supporting system testing, go‑live readiness, post‑implementation stabilization, and long‑term sustainment. This includes documenting workflows, developing standard operating procedures, assisting with change management, and serving as a point of contact support for integrated clinical systems.
The Integration Specialist regularly collaborates with surgeons, nursing leadership, IT teams, and vendors to ensure effective technical solutions, while minimizing reliance on external service calls and reducing system downtime.
