System Test Engineer

5 days onsite, $75/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Test Systems Support Engineer, you will analyze, troubleshoot, and coordinate the repair of manufacturing test systems and tooling used in production. You’ll identify root causes of equipment failures, lead improvement initiatives, and support the development and deployment of robust test systems to optimize performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues with test systems and manufacturing equipment in a production environment
• Analyze test data to identify trends and recommend improvements to equipment, processes, and test procedures
• Lead test system redesign efforts and continuous improvement initiatives
• Design and implement test methods, fixtures, and automated test equipment
• Plan and coordinate resources (personnel, schedules, software, and equipment) to support system improvements
• Investigate reported system/tooling failures, analyze failure modes, and define repair processes
• Perform component-level electronic troubleshooting and repairs on test systems and tooling
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend design or process enhancements to improve system performance
• Coordinate repair activities with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Track repair progress and ensure timely resolution while maintaining clear communication
• Document failure analysis, repair actions, and improvement recommendations
• Act as a subject matter expert supporting the development and deployment of new test systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing test systems and tooling at the component level
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and propose design improvements
• Experience analyzing data to drive changes in test equipment and procedures
• Ability to manage repair processes and collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers
• Background supporting electronic manufacturing environments

Pay range and compensation package

Pays up to $75.00 depending on experience.
