Genesis Partners is leading a confidential search for a SVP, Finance / CFO with a private equity backed wellness CPG brand based in West LA. The company has built strong category positioning, a loyal customer base, and is now entering a phase of accelerated commercial and operational scale.

This is a seat with real leverage. The role goes well beyond financial reporting and accounting stewardship. The SVP, Finance / CFO will function as a core thought partner to the CEO, executive team, and board, with direct influence over how the business grows, allocates capital, and creates long term value.

About the Role

The SVP, Finance / CFO will run the finance organization end to end, with ownership across FP&A, cash flow management, liquidity, performance modeling, and executive decision support. The work sits at the intersection of strategy and operations, translating financial signal into clear commercial direction.

The company is moving fast. Finance is expected to keep pace, anticipate complexity, and bring a builder's instinct to scaling infrastructure, talent, and process. The right person is equally comfortable in the model and in the boardroom.

What You Will Own

• Company wide planning, forecasting, and long range financial modeling
• Cash flow management, including direct and indirect cash flow forecasting and working capital discipline
• Performance analysis across revenue, margin, customer economics, and channel mix
• Liquidity planning and capital allocation
• Strategic partnership with the CEO and executive team on growth and operating decisions
• Board and investor materials, financial narratives, and KPI frameworks
• Scalable financial infrastructure, controls, and process design
• Evaluation of growth investments, commercial bets, and operational tradeoffs
• Support across fundraising, lender management, and investor relations
• Hiring, mentoring, and building out the finance team over time

Who We Are Looking For

A finance leader with a track record of operating in fast moving, growth oriented environments. Most strong candidates will bring:

• Direct experience inside private equity, growth equity, or high growth operating companies
• Strong command of FP&A, financial modeling, and business performance analytics
• Demonstrated ownership of cash flow management, including forecasting, working capital, and treasury operations
• Working fluency in capital efficiency at scale
• A strategic posture, not a purely functional one
• Executive presence with leadership teams, boards, and institutional investors
• Sharp business judgment paired with intellectual rigor
• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid pivots, and shifting priorities

A background in wellness, consumer products, subscription, or broader CPG is highly relevant but not a hard requirement. Operating capability and financial instinct are the primary filters.

Structure & Compensation

• Hybrid schedule, 3 days on-site in West LA
• Cash compensation up to $295K plus meaningful equity participation
