Job Summary

St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School is seeking a Suzuki Violin Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for providing violin instruction using the Suzuki Method while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide violin instruction to students using the Suzuki Method
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons
  • Work with students individually and/or in small groups
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and families
  • Prepare students for performances and school events as applicable
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development as required

Qualifications:

  • Training and certification in the Suzuki Method preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field preferred
  • Experience teaching violin to children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and school staff
  • Commitment to supporting Catholic education
