Ensure survey procedures and instrumentation procedures are followed.
Survey Operations:
Processing and correcting conventional and GPS data from Trimble Survey equipment
Field map mark up and deed plotting
Draft survey maps
QA/QC
Monitor and manage survey supplies and inventory.
Ensure timely submission of crew time logs and mileage records.
Track project progress and schedule
Reporting & Compliance:
Report directly to Project Managers and Senior Management.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fieldwork.
Provide updates on project progress and potential challenges.
Qualifications
3-5 years demonstratable experience as a Survey Technician working with processing survey data and correcting survey date, in particular Trimble equipment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Prior experience in land surveying. Education in land surveying a big plus.
Ability to carry up to 40 pounds over uneven terrain.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency with surveying instruments, equipment, and procedures.
Valid driver’s license (required).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed.
