Survey Field Coordinator (Land Surveying)

Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Survey Field Coordinator to support projects in various sectors (State, Municipal, Commercial, Institutional, etc.). This role oversees field survey crews, ensures accurate data collection, and maintains adherence to standards, specifications, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field surveying/coordination experience (IDOT, CDWM, CCDOTH preferred)
• Proficiency with survey equipment and software (e.g., Trimble, MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and plats
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites across Northern Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IDOT survey procedures, coding, and standards
• Familiarity with data processing workflows
• Experience working on IDOT, City of Chicago, Cook County DOT, etc.
